State of the world

Tis with mercy we give our music to the world.

Why Mercy?

There is no other reason to give, each of us looks around at the universe and we see and hear nothing.

RIP MCA: What The Beastie Boys Mean to me (Cristy)

Cristy here. I have Paul's Boutique cranked on 11 here in my office. I'm trying to work but I figured I just needed to write this out. It's just for me. I love The Beastie Boys.

When I was in high school I used to drive to school everyday with my best pal Amie, her brother was a couple years older than us, we had access to his CD collection floating around the Honda Civic we had deemed "the japanese sauna".  We'd listen to select tracks from Ill Communication. I can rap all the words…

Do people really like music anymore?
